Visit of Rotarian Surendra Joshi

His country has not yet recovered from the devastating earthquake that occurred in four years ago and which killed 9,000 people and injured 22,000. Rotary is contributing greatly to the recovery programme and as an engineer Surendra has been in the forefront of the effort. His main projects involve the provision of drinking water and the construction of seven schools in the area for which they have received help from Rotary clubs in Japan.
Surendra is clearly an outstanding Rotarian and he belongs to a fine and active club as can be seen from visiting website
